Fall portrait season is upon us and I wanted to give my clients the opportunity to see some of my favorite shooting locations around town. Downtown Gilbert offers so much variety and color for clients looking for something a little different. This is a fantastic location for small families who want a more candid, less posed feel for their portraits. It’s also a great place for senior portraits.

The alleyway next to SoCal Fish Taco Company is basically a giant light box. The light in this alley is always perfect. I wish I could take my driver’s license photo here.

Another fun spot is the pink brick wall next to Flashback Antiques. It’s big! It’s pink! It’s brick! (That’s the trifecta.)

If it’s bright outside, I like to head in to Heritage Court for some sitting poses.

If pink isn’t your thing, there’s also a large white wall near the pink one.

Benches line the sidewalks so there’s always a chance to sit and smile for the camera.
