Lifestyle Newborn Session with Siblings {Love Multiplies}

When I was pregnant with my first child I remember asking friends with multiple children if your love multiplies with each child or if you have to divide the love you already have between them. I received many different answers. I think I’ve decided that with each child your love grows, but you have to divide your time between your children. After all, there’s only one of you, right? I remember seeing women at the grocery store with more than one child and thinking, “TWO kids at the grocery store? How? HOW?!” I have three children and any time I see someone with more than three I think, “How? HOW?!”

A few weeks ago my beautiful friend, Katie, had her fourth child so she’s basically Wonder Woman to me. I’ll bet New Mom Katie would be crazy impressed with Mother of Four Katie! Katie’s children are some of the most delightful kids I have every met in my life and I was so thrilled when she let me come photograph all of them in their home.

We started out with just newborn baby and his recently dethroned big sister. She wanted to be wherever he was and was happy to share some snuggles. My kids are older now and it was fun to remember the joys of trying to feed a baby with a toddler around and the excitement of older kids coming home from school. Such a sweet time of life!
